Name: Boris

Age: 17

Description: “Boris is just a typical, lazy, idle teenager. He rejects the whole idea of an apocalypse because he can’t be bothered with the effort that it would take. Boris is around 6ft tall and is lanky. His hair is, how he describes it, very mucky blonde. Due to his laziness, it’s normally styled in whatever way he woke up with it. Boris normally wears jeans, maybe an old band shirt or checked shirt and brown walking boots, as he only has 2 pairs. His general attitude to the way he presents himself is poor as he cannot be bothered to make an effort. Boris can be very negative in some situations, such as the idea of an apocalypse but normally brushes it off saying: “It’ll be ‘reyt”.

Name: Nicola

Age: 17

Description: “Nicola is a very demanding teenage girl. She is very stubborn and doesn’t let anyone push her around. If you ever disagree with her on any matter you’d best be quick to take it back and agree with her as she’s very feisty and never backs down. From the initial impression of Nicola, she doesn’t show this but once you get to know her better she does. Her voice sounds very laid back and almost everything she says is sarcastic. Nicola is around 5’4”, but do not over estimated her as she packs a mean punch. Her hair is fairly dark blonde and wears a large variety of clothes of different styles and Colours.  Nicola is very optimistic and her spirit is never dimmed. Although she does not show it, Nicola is quite attached to the other members in the group but decides to act tough and not to show her true emotions.

Name: Jim

Age: 17

Description: “Jim is the sensitive one of the group. His feeling can easily be hurt, but as easily fixed. Jim is a caring, forgiving and honest person, which in some ways makes him the most venerable of the group. He is easily miss led and just goes with the flow but his heart is in the right place. Jim normally where’s colourful clothes and think jackets. His hair is dark brown and curly, like a very small afro. Jim’s a very cheerful teenager, though hides this in his voice which normally only has one tone.

The 5^th wave.

 The 5^th wave is an apocalyptic science fiction film which was directed by J Blackeson in 2016.

In this apocalyptic film a spacecraft the size of a small city is orbiting earth. The creatures upon this spacecraft are referred to as: “The others” and on the 5^th wave are their attack “The others” merge consciousness with the human’s host. They are around 300 survivors in a small camp when the army roll up and take all the children saying that they’ll be back for the rest of the adults. What the children don’t know is that when the children get to the army base the military use deceptive technology to convince the children that all humans that’re outside of this base have been possessed. The army then train these children forming squadrons out of groups of them and send them on missions to kill the remaining humans.

This film is similar to ours due to “The others” merging consciousness with the humans as in our film it’s the clones absorb the consciousness of the human.

28 days later.

28 days later is fantasy/ Science fiction film which was directed by Danny Boyle and was released in 2002. Some animal rights activists free a chimp from a medical research lab. This Chimp was infected with a rage virus. The film starts with the main character(Jim) waking up from a coma in hospital after a month to find the entire city deserted.  Jim then finds a group of survivors who he joins on a gruelling journey to what the group hopes is safety.

This film is similar to our films as they both are post-apocalyptic SC-fi films. In 28 days later however, it’s more of a zombie like apocalyptic film whereas mine is more mind controlled clones.
